Incredible Standards:
The Subaru brand is known for offering a lot of outstanding standard features, not the least of which being standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD). While standard AWD is a hallmark of the Subaru lineup (with the notable exception of the BRZ sports car), the 2018 Subaru Outback offers some other outstanding standard features that Atlanta drivers will want to take advantage of:
- Standard Powertrain: The first three trim levels share the same engine: a 2.5-liter DOHC with 175 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. A Lineartronic® CVT is standard on all trim levels and with all engine options. Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is standard on all trims, as are the  X-MODE® and Hill Descent Control systems.
- Standard Comfort Features: On the 2.5i Premium trim and above, heated front seats are standard, though Reclining 40/60-split flat-folding rear seatbacks are standard throughout. Cloth upholstery is standard, though leather-trimmed seating usurps that at the 2.5i Limited trim.
- Standard Tech: Only the base trim has basic analog instrumentation-from the 2.5i Premium trim and up, Atlanta drivers enjoy standard Electrolumanescent analog instruments. Again, the base trim starts with a standard STARLINKâ„¢ 6.5-inch Multimedia center, while a 4-speaker audio system features standard on the base trim, moving to a 6-speaker system on the 2.5i Premium trim, which a Harman Kardon Premium Audio System becomes standard on the 2.5i Limited trim and above.
Tempting Options:
The 2018 Subaru Outback comes factory-ready to get out there and grab the road, but if you're looking for some tempting extras, additional tech, or creature comforts beyond the base-level trim, consider some of these packages of available features that await you at higher trim levels:
- Subaru STARLINKâ„¢ 8.0-inch Multimedia Navigation: The power of navigation and an easy-to-use 8.0-inch touchscreen are right at your fingertips-literally-when you go with the available Subaru STARLINKâ„¢ 8.0-inch Multimedia/Navigation system. It's standard on the 2.5i Touring trim and above.
- Available Power Moonroof: Subaru is often synonymous with adventure in the great outdoors, but if you're someone who wants to bring the great outdoors into your Subaru Outback, you'll want to go with the 2.5i Limited trim or higher, where it becomes standard.
- Leather-trimmed Upholstery: If you're looking to bring a little sophistication to the interior of your 2018 Subaru Outback, the 2.5i Limited trim offers standard leather-trimmed upholstery available in two different colors, while a leather-wrapped steering wheel becomes standard at the 2.5i Premium trim.
- 18-Inch Alloy Wheels: Also a feature found on the 2.5i Limited trim, the 18-inch alloy wheels will have you riding high and looking stylish.
